School Council
What is a School Council?
The goal of a school council is to facilitate communication and co-operation among the school community. It is also a means to communicate to the municipal, school board and Department of Education matters of concern to the school community.
The School Council includes the principal, parents, teachers, and community representatives who while representing the interests of all students, work together to enhance the quality of teaching, learning environment and to improve the levels of student achievement in their school.
Advising and Advocating on the needs for the school community is our goal.
